Hunters Point Naval Shipyard
Hunters Point Naval Shipyard
City-Core has expertise in conversions of former military bases. These conversions require successful long-term partnerships with local, state and federal agencies to achieve reuse goals that align with environmental, infrastructure and transportation opportunities. The redevelopment of Hunters Point Naval Shipyard was complex: City-Core redeveloped 520 acres while preserving historic buildings and removing significant hazardous materials. The project produced 10,500 residential units and 3.5 million square feet of office, retail and R&D space.
